Three-Vehicle Route 303 Crash Results In Fatality

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Route 303 was closed in both directions in Valley Cottage from Lake Road to Palisades Center Drive after a three-vehicle crash that involved one fatality and serious injuries, according to the Clarkstown Police.

The crash, which occurred around 3:43 p.m. Monday in the area of Storms Road, included two trucks and a car, said Officer Peter Walker.

The roadway is expected to continue to be closed for several hours as police, fire and first responders work to help the injured and investigate the crash, he said.

In an effort to assist with the investigation, the police drone was launched for an aerial view and video.
